Call for Applications: Accra Archive Internships
The building Early Accra (bEA) Project is looking for enthusiastic and creative interns to join our team as:
1. Multimedia content creators
2. Research Assistants, and
3. Writers
The working hours are flexible, there will be lots of remote working and interns will receive a stipend.
THIS INTERNSHIP IS RIGHT FOR YOU IF:
You’re excited about taking on new challenges, even if they are in new and unfamiliar terrains.
You are an independent worker who is good at thinking and learning quickly
You are interested in Ghanaian historical research, architecture and archives
You’re available starting March - July 2021.
APPLICATION PROCEDURE:

Include some samples of your work (such as a portfolio, links to videos, researched articles, edited images, photographs and/or writing).
The deadline for submitting applications is 5th March 2021.
DEPENDING ON WHICH ROLE YOU APPLY FOR, YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE:
Photo and video documentation of buildings and places
Multimedia content creation for web and social media platforms
Assisting with historical research
Writing articles
Creating graphics and images
Assisting the project team with events
QUALIFICATIONS (DEPENDING ON THE ROLE YOU APPLY FOR):
Currently pursuing, or recently graduated from a course in an appropriate field. Work experience in a relevant field counts if you do not have the educational qualifications.
Photo and Video editing skills
Strong research and writing skills
Interest in Ghanaian history and willingness to use archives
Experience with content creation and editing, research, archives, architecture or other related fields.
Flexibility and proactiveness in taking on assignments
